Our Process
At Hess Family Painting we don't believe in having a process just for process sake. Our process is in place to ensure that each time we take on a new interior or exterior painting project, we understand what needs to be done and the customer is fully aware how everything will flow from beginning to end.
STEP 1: We schedule an in-home, no pressure consultation with all the necessary people at the local San Diego county location you are looking to get painted. Full measurements are taken along with counting additional items that go into a full estimate. No guessing here!! This is an extremely important step as it ensures that you are getting a bid that reflects exactly what you want.
STEP 2: After all painting project questions have been answered on both our side and yours, we provide you with a detailed proposal for your project. The proposal includes all material, labor, and items needed to complete your project. There are never any hidden costs or fees. What you see is what you pay.
STEP 3: Step 3 is always a fun one...picking your paint colors! We only use the finest quality paints to ensure maximum quality and durability. We can provide you with paint swatches and a free color consultation or if you already know what you want, you can head to a local paint store and pick out the exact color paints and sheen's you would like.
STEP 4: Once your paint is selected we are now ready to start your painting project. We will show up when we were scheduled to show up and get right to work helping to transform your space. If it is a multiple day painting project than at the end of each day you will get an update on our progress and a recap of what we completed. We stay in complete communication with you throughout the entire project so there are no surprises.
STEP 5: We want you to be completely satisfied with your painting project so we always schedule a final walk-through to show you every detail of the work we completed. If anything isn't as expected or discussed, we will fix it and make it right. We aren't finished until you tell us we are.
